All You Need To Know: Polo Sunday

Here are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions…

  • Q: “How much does it cost to attend Polo?”
  • A: The cost for 1 vehicle for 1 day is $20. Season membership is $50.

  • Q: “Where is the Polo Field?”
  • A: The Waiki’i Ranch Polo Field; 67-1026 Palekaiko Rd., Kamuela, HI 96743.

  • Q: “Where do we park or sit?”
  • A: Seating is available in and around the Polo Pavilion on a first come, first serve basis. We also invite spectators to bring a picnic blanket, lawn chairs, or other seating to make themselves comfortable along the field side. Parking is in the pasture behind the Polo Pavilion. VIP Members are allowed to park and tailgate along the upper field side and may also bring a canopy tent.

  • Q: “Are dogs allowed?”
  • A: Unfortunately, it is the policy of the Waiki’i Ranch HOA to not allow dogs at the Polo Pavilion. We are grateful for the use of their field so we must abide by their rules. Apologies to all our furry friends!
  • Q: “Is there food available for purchase?”
  • A: Food is available for purchase, and the selections vary. Please sign up for our mailing list or send an email to for more about our weekly offerings!

  • Q: “Are you affiliated with Mauna Kea Polo Club?”
  • A: Short answer is No. The management of MKPC has retired. Most people who were part of the Mauna Kea Polo Club have reorganized with us; however, we are an entirely new club with entirely new management.

  • Q: “Where can we purchase tickets or a membership?”
  • A: Tickets and Season Memberships can be purchased at the main Waiki’i gatehouse on Polo Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM. You may also purchase Season Memberships online here. For any questions about memberships or tickets please email for more information.

  • Q: “We’ve attended a match on a day ticket and want to come back. Can we upgrade our ticket to a season pass?”
  • A: YES! You may bring your ticket stub to the main gatehouse to upgrade. Only pay the difference in price to upgrade.

  • Q: “We’ve purchased a regular Season Membership and want to upgrade to VIP. Is that possible?”

  • Q: “How long does your season run?”
  • A: You can find us out on the field every Sunday starting at the beginning of October all the way through the end of December. Check out our Schedule of Events for more!
